Bad Ideas I’ve Had As Told Through Web Domains I’ve Purchased
I have a habit of buying domain names to try to will stupid ideas into existence. Here are some of them.
pyramidscheme.cool
Originally, I bought this domain to start a pyramid scheme to build a pyramid. But people would know what they’re getting into from the start, so it would be cool. A cool pyramid scheme.
onlytwofans.com
One fan per foot. Highest bidders get the content. Or something. I still think this is funny.
roaddog.co
For about three months I thought I wanted to build out a camper van and become a mobile ethnographer, living on the road with my dog. Still a cool idea. But I don’t want to do it.
dentsudumb.com
I though this was moderately funny for about five minutes when Dentsu and McGarryBowen merged as DentsuMB. Then I remembered that insider advertising jokes are never funny.
strategyrant.com
I was a strategy malcontent who thought he had things to rant about on the internet. The key is to rant in real life.
