Comics. cans. Comic-can.

If you drank a Coke in the spring or summer of 2024, it probably had a Marvel character on it. I wrote the creative strategy for this global campaign that brought together two of the most beloved brands in the universe. Moreover, I joined up with the experience design team to help think up a a pretty sweet AR experience that was an ode to Marvel fans and what they love most: more and more Marvel.

Fans scanned a QR code to have that can’s character leap out of the packaging and start interacting with them. Put a couple of cans together and the characters would interact with each other. Pretty cool! Scanning specific can combinations unlocked AR sequences that included novel storylines, surprise reveals, and Easter eggs. The campaign sold roughly a bajillion cans and exceeded a lot of other metrics that I can’t tell you about.
