For many golfers, golf pro shops embody all the things they don’t really like about golf.

The jargon. The boys’ club. The white glove treatment. The outfits. For casual golfers — and people shopping for golfers — pro shops are kind of exactly what they don’t want when they’re shopping for golf stuff. Luckily for them, Dick’s Sporting Goods has everything a golfer desires without the stuffiness. It’s the golf pro shop for non-pros. For what it’s worth, I think this is my favorite brief that I’ve written.
